Biography
Mia has completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Monash University. She is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and their families to achieve their goals through a neuro-affirming lens. Mia is committed to building positive relationships, learning from people with lived experiences, and creating a psychologically safe environment to ensure children feel heard and seen. Mia’s areas of interest include sensory processing, emotion regulation, play-based intervention and developing executive functioning skills necessary for everyday activities. Mia is passionate about helping children and families understand their unique strengths and needs and advocating for support in different environments. In her spare time, Mia enjoys creative activities such as painting, dancing, visiting galleries and watching musicals.

Monash University – Mia was assigned ‘Residential Advisor’ within Monash University in support of monitoring the specific needs and requirements of 15 first year students, assisted in the assimilation of various cultures within the residence on campus.
Mia also provided ongoing peer mentorship within the Allied Health Program in support of small groups building professional connections and social networks.
The Inclusion Project – Supporting Social Inclusion and the facilitation of sensory spaces within sporting venues across Melbourne including the MCG, Marvel Stadium, John Cain Arena, Olympic Park during the Australian Open.
