Biography
Lexi is currently embarking on her third consecutive year working within the Living Without Boundaries team!
Her passion lies in mental health, and she has valuable experience working with people with disabilities across ages with special interests in working with adolescence and emerging adulthood. Lexi’s journey has seen her spend time within hospital, community and school- based settings. Lexi has extensive experience in supporting people with neuro developmental, sensory processing and mental health challenges in support of increased independence. Lexi has a gentle demeanour; What she enjoys most about occupational therapy is the opportunity to work closely with individuals and their loved ones throughout their progress.
Lexi helps people understand their lifestyle needs and jointly enables independence through creative solutions. Lexi maintains her own physical and mental health through activities like practicing yoga, outdoor hiking, pottery, traveling, exploring new foods and indulging in photography. Additionally, she finds solace and expression in art and nature.
Lexi values neuro-affirming practice with dedication to her field and personal well-being, making her a valuable asset within the world of occupational therapy.
