Sophie joined Living Without Boundaries at the end of 2023 as an Occupational Therapy assistant. Prior to joining the team Sophie worked as a support worker for children presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay. She has developed a strong passion for working with adolescents and young adults. When Sophie is not at work, she loves dancing competitively, listening to music, walking, going to the beach, travelling and hanging out with her border collie, and spending time with family and friends. Sophie loves assisting people to achieve their goals and everyday activities in a fun and enjoyable way that is meaningful for them.
Sophie has completed the following placements:
- At Monash Medical Centre in the Acute Neurology and Neurosurgery Ward
- At Access Health and Community researching the prescription process for personal alarms
- At e-Headspace providing youth mental health support
